I've never been more excited about a QB who threw 4 picks (1 Viewer)

When you are desperate you do desperate things. No injury and some tackles may have led to a different outcome and win or lose it was a whole lot more satisfying than Siemien so what the hell? Roll the dice and next year we'll have Winston as QB and Hill as the freak he is and all will be right in the world.
Not to mention that bs penalty. I think Hill can win if we utilize his running ability more but he can't play from a deficit. Lamar Jackson has looked pretty bad at times playing from behind. He threw 4 interceptions himself last week and still won though. If we're gonna win with Hill we have to use that kind of gameplan. Lots of runs and mostly short throws to the tight ends
You needed Drew to say something about it before you got upset about TS's dropbacks?

That's kind of the problem w/ almost everything today, we wait for people we look up to, to have an opinion on something before we make up our own mind. TS's dropbacks didn't bother me because the line play was bad and has been bad for a while...going back to when that same O-line - actually scratch that, the guys who started over half these guys - got Drew's ribs crushed...I found it kinda humorous actually that he suggested TS step into the (non)pocket.
There were plenty of times he could have stepped up. Am I going to wait until a hall of fame qb with undoubtedly the best pocket presence starts talking about pocket presence before forming an opinion? Absolutely.
There were times I thought Brees would be crushed with things crashing around him but he usually stepped up and delivered. Trevor is mediocre at best.

No way to get past the 4 picks, but it would have been fun to see what he could have done without a broken/injured finger. Stills should have caught that pass near the goal line at the end of the half. Instead, it goes off his hands and is intercepted. It's one thing to have a mediocre QB. It's an entirely different situation when you go into the game with no talent at WR.

Edit - For the haters/doubters/realists/negative big mads:
THIS IS NOT YOUR THREAD. There are plenty of hateraid threads for you to go whine in. GET OUT, KEEP MOVING.

I support my team and I also support outside the box ideas. Taysom Hill is outside the box.

Will you be attending any of the 2 remaining home games this season?

The game was changing when Hill was running and making plays with his feet.

Homeboy is not a QB. And that’s okay.
Until teams start scheming for that.

Forgive me if I am not excited:

Jameis Winston as QB 14TDS to 3INTs for the season - Prove it deals.

Taysom Hill as QB 2TDs to 5INTs Why is Taysom the highest paid QB on the roster, and signed mid Season to a new contract 10 mill a yr.

Tervor Siemian as QB 9TDs to 3INTs for the season - Prove it deals.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!

I didn’t realize TS was 9-3 TD to Int. Wow. Good post:

He's boom or bust. Definitely more entertaining than Siemian but he also threw some bad passes that should have been picked but weren't.
No doubt Hill is a lot better than Siemian but Diggs should have had at least two more takeaways.

Interestingly enough, we once had another QB who could make entertaining plays at times, could be careless with the ball, and had a penchant for grinning.

Many people couldn't wait to run him off after a few years.
Ol’ AB! Lol I think he was a MUCH better QB than Taysom.

I think its fair to phrase it that he ONLY threw 4 INTs. It probably shouldve been 6.

It was the decisions more than the finger in most situations. But yeah, he gives us our best chance to win the rest of this season. He also gives us our best chance to lose. We dont have a choice but to roll with him, and by the end of it maybe this whole TH is a QB thing will run its course and he can focus on doing what he is good at.
You can’t say with certainty that it was mostly the decisions. The int to the DE was not a bad decision, and both that one and the Diggs ints probably were low due to the finger. The int to Diggs was a bad decision, and had no chance to be completed, but the finger probably threw off the trajectory. The fluke on the Stills int was an okay decision. Taysom was flushed out, and he put it where only Stills could tip it in the air to cause an incredible interception.

Once his finger was hurt, most of his passes were going short and low. I’m guessing that that was due to the splint.

I would say it's not up for debate.....but given how some people on this forum devoted their entire Spring and Summer to telling us why Taysom Hill was a better QB than Jameis Winston......I guess anything can be debated :ROFLMAO:.
