Saints Anybody STILL bummin out? šŸ¤” (1 Viewer)

The team finished 9-8 after starting 4 different QBs in one season. Weā€˜ve had worse winning percentages than that with a HOF QB a few times. This team WAY over performed. What is there to really be bummed about?
Agreed, aside from the collapse in the other game we needed. So close. And I believe weā€™d have won a game in the playoffs, and yes, even with Trevor.

I'm not bummed because I've always felt take care of your own business and dont count on other teams to help you. We had a couple games we shouldn't have lost was the difference.

We would have beat the Rams.
We would have destroyed the Rams.

I'm not bummed out at all. The team fought through more than any team in NFL history. A massive hurricane that impacted the homes of many players, coaches and staff, a retirement of a HOF quarterback, having to start FOUR different QB's in a season and setting records in how many victories came from them, injuries to numerous starters, a COVID mess that the NFL was happy about, the failure of their great WR to return to the field, a kicking mess of epic proportions, having to start more players in a season than anyone in NFL history. This team destroyed the #1 seed in the NFL and beat the Tom Brady's twice, causing him to destroy a computer. Would have made the playoffs except for an EPIC collapse by the Rams.

I feel better about this off-season than I have in over a decade. Loomis will figure it out and bring almost everybody back. This team is stacked to win it all this year. Bring Winston back, somehow get MT back playing strong. No problems at all.

Fair question, like many I was disappointed immediately after the Rams debacle but as the evening went on I started to think about the offseason and whatā€™s in store next season.

Not sure about anyone else but Iā€™ve grown to love the offseason process from the senior bowl, combine, free agency, OTAs, mini-camps then next thing you know weā€™re in July and starting training camp and the true countdown to the new season begins. For a change we actually have a jump on the teams still playing and unlike those teams in chaos or looking for coaches our front office and coaching staff know what theyā€™re doing.

Ditto!

I'm satisfied with the way it ended. We fought back against the odds and had a winning season. NOW, I get to watch the playoffs and see which teams the NY office dubs their favorites for the SB and watch how it's manipulated without it effecting my Saints. I just have a feeling this year's favorites are going to be Aron and Patrick, the State Farm bowl. State Farm cut back a bit on the Aron commercials and I think Roger wants to get him back out there, plus throw some consternation at the Packers on what they are going to do with him next year.

Nah. Honestly, this was the most impressive season I have seen Sean coach. He proved his HOF worthiness to me.

Many won't see the impressiveness of this season because of our record and we didn't make the playoffs. But to deal with all we had to battle and come out with a winning record is impressive. UDFAS lining up everywhere and we remained competitive in every game except Buffalo.

Hurdle after Hurdle and our guys continued to fight and show how resilient they are. Most teams would have crumbled, but we never folded. The leadership and culture of the Saints is downright amazing. There's only one thing left to say, #WHODAT!!!!!!
