He starts a lot of his sentences with "yeah", before giving whatever analysis he's about to give.

He also used to love the word "obviously", in his post game interviews.

Probably just one of those things he'll get better at, with continued practice. We already know he's willing to put in the work.

Crazy, and I’m sure an unpopular opinion around here… but I don’t care.

Brees was the GOAT QB for the Saints… and I’ll be a fan of his forever… but if he’s not popular or successful slinging the NFLs crooked game, I really couldn’t care less.

Walk away Drew! Go enjoy your family, your legacy, and your money.

Didn't Tony Romo get the same treatment from us when he started out in the boothe? I know I did, but now he's pretty decent. Drew will get better, he's smart, he knows what he's doing and knows what he needs to do to get better. I don't see him stepping away from a challenge unless the network yanks him out of the booth.

No. Tony Romo was loved out of the gate.

If Drew can bring his energy from The Cam Jordan and Mark Ingram podcast. People would start liking him more. Talk like a football player and less like a boring television shopping channel analyst. he'll be good.

I didn't like Romo because he was a Cowboy. That's what I meant. I think a lot of people will never like Drew, no matter how much he develops, because he was a Saint.

The criticism is warranted. Drew's appeal has largely been his good-guy image with a discipline for avoiding the critical or controversial comment. He may simply be ill-suited for being a television network analyst.

I don't think that is a thing, honestly.
We will likely never find out. Either he will get better so that the only ones to complain would be haters and they wouldn't want to expose themselves, or he doesn't and is put back in the studio where he can prepare and have notes in advance.
