Is Rodgers career now officially a disappointment (1 Viewer)

Was Brees career a disappointment? Come on man. You can't blame one player for team losses like this. People just can't stand the media loves Rodgers so they hate him.
It isn’t just that.
I’ve never been a fan, but a lot of the hate he’s getting recently has been for reasons that have zero to do with football.

To each their own.

In fairness, I've always been critical of him. But I did love him trash-talking Bears fans, because...well...they're Bears fans and deserve nothing less.

Been many years since he won a championship. Ever since then he hasnt come close to another one.

I cant recall any athlete being so anointed by the media come up so dissapointing short so often
Maybe they can now criticize him as much as they loved doing it to Brees.

He’s a first ballot HOFer and started after another first ballot HOFer retired. His career is anything but disappointing.
Brady’s numbers have got everyone confused on what a great career is.

Right? That was funny and to heck with them for how they treated us in the 06 NFCCG….

I’ve never liked Aaron much either.

Rodgers once got MVP over Brees in a season in which:

Brees had just as many wins as Rodgers

Brees led the league in completions, completion %, TDS, and an NFL record for yards in a season.

AND….Rodgers didn’t even have the most passing TDs in a single game by a Packer that year.

His brand of offense doesn't work well with the GB climate during the playoff months.
Exactly. I don’t know why Packers play for home field advantage. He’s lost four times to inferior teams in the cold up there now, Giants and Eli, Seahawks on messed up Onsides kick, Bucs when kicked 2 FGs inside the 10 and Niners tonight. He has better chance to win in warmer weather. He’s their whole team.

Exactly...this game gets played in SF....GB beats the brakes off of SF 10/10

Adams and Jones are and they shut them down. I don't even remember Lazard being involved.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from with that.

Favre's kinda reckless nature aside, I don't think anyone could ever question his physical or mental toughness.
Wait... You tell me don't risk it for pass rating biscuit won't try to win games?

I’d take him tomorrow. He’s had a HOF career and been through how many coaches in GB? Put him with SP next year and we win the Super Bowl. Especially if home field advantage is in the dome in winter
