He's definitely another great option at #10....

Is Jenkins of OSU not more of a zone guy who wouldn't fit in with our man system, and talk has been that he will never develop into a solid man coverage corner, or am I getting him confused with USF's Mike Jenkins?

I am not so sure that New England picks Laurinaitis. His greatest value is as a traditional middle linebacker in a 4-3. Inside linebackers in a 3-4 usually are not top picks in the NFL. New England has always drafted with value in mind, believing that certain positions should not be drafted high because a team can acquire those players later in the draft or in free agency.

I can see New England grabbing Gholston and perhaps even Jenkins before Laurinaitis. Just a feeling that Laurinaitis fill be our pick unless we will the Mike position in free agency.

Thats such an overrated knock on CB's. Jason David didn't struggle because he was a "zone" guy. He got beat just as badly when we played Cover 2. His first 5 TD's he gave up on the season came in a Cover 1/2 zone. You don't draft zone or man guys, you draft the best physical specimen with the best coverage skills (yes you still have to have those in a zone scheme). All defenses play zone. Jenkins is a freak physically, can play CB and safety, and has the coverage skills. A 6-1 208 pound CB will great coverage skills will be just fine in a man scheme. David's biggest shortcoming is that he is smaller then me, and I'm only 5'9" 165.

I'm not sure if Jenkins plays man or zone, but he looks like the real deal.

Terrible mock draft.

I'm a big time LSU fan but anyone that thinks Early Doucet will go 11th overall is smoking something. He's just not that good.

Ohio St. often runs cover 2 or cover 4 and he does like to line up at safety occasionally. Haven't seen OSU enough to see if he has the skills for man defense or not.
