I know we are 4 deep at RB, but I have a feeling Ray Rice is going to be another Maurice Jones-Drew. I say we attempt to sign as many good free agents as we can, then draft defense in the first round, and depending on how well he shows at the combine, go ahead and draft him in the third or move down in the second.

And we will shortly follow that with a DE.

No I'm not saying this is a bad decision or anything because I don't have any resources to judge this guy. But really is a RB neccessary? But you never know, he could end up blowing up the league.

are you serious?

Nobody knows who is going to re-sign or if deuce is coming back healthy, all i'm saying is that even if all the RB's that were on the roster this year were back for next, i'd still make a play for Rice

Ray is actually smaller than Bush. If he was 215-220lbs then i would like him to replace Deuce if he can't come back but we don't need another 200lbs Running Back.

The way we draft will tell us who will be back and who wont be, who is being counted on and who may be in danger of being benched, the Saints could very well draft a RB in this draft, or a DE, it all depends on how free agency is and who we resign, so i'll take a wait and see approach, I know just like everybody else, when draft day comes, were gonna like and dislike alot of selections, then sit back and soak it in and say "I liked the moves we mad" we did it last year (though that draft was an utter flop) but at the time it made sense.

Rice will be a BEAST in the NFL (am a Rutgers fan), but were set at RB.

Ray reminds me of Pierre though (built, thick legs etc).
