...NFL player present or past looked real good getting of the bus but if you really tried hard, you could show them up?

My vote is Ernie Conwell. Big muscular guy but wasn't worth 2 cents on Sunday. I played TE in high school and college and I didn't have physique he had, but would've done better than he in the pros.:smilielol: :hihi:

Irv Smith is my choice. He had some good years with an emerging Wesley Walls in 94 and 95, but the Saints FO made a pretty dumb call by letting Walls walk to Carolina and have arguably a HOF career and Irv Smith does a 180 and goes down the tiolet. I mean he looked the part Lee, I really thought he would pick up his game in 1996 after Walls left, turns out that was the biggest mistake we could have made in terms of either bad luck or dumb luck.
Take your pick, Irv never seemed to make a good career out of it. He looked like a guy who could do a lot but it never turned out to be that way

Jonathan Sullivan. I'm only 6' 2" and c. 200 lbs., but I think even I could have been erased less often than Sully, just because I'm slippery! Of course, I'd have been broken into little pieces by the monster linemen in the NFL before a single season was over, but that too would have outdone Sully because he continued to be out there playing at his sucky out of shape level all season. :covri:

OK, seriously, I once ran a 4.4 my freshman year of college, so I might could have outplayed Jason David this year (I'm certainly taller...). :hihi:

On our best day most of us could never have made it through one full contact practice with an NFL team.

Read the title of the thread: "Let's have some fun". Reality doesn't have to enter into it here, dude. Let your hair down. I think most (if not all) of us are smart enough to know we'd be snapped like twigs if we tried to play against the monsters in the NFL for real.

Tebucky Jones 6'-2" 220 lbs. I'm 5'-9" 180 lbs. I know I can tackle better than Tebucky or at least get into position to make a tackle or a play.

Lawrence Taylor. That guy was a wimp. :hihi: (On the 1 in a billion chance that LT's reading this, I'm sorry, you the man!)

Seriously, though, Kwame Harris. 6'7, 320+ lbs and gets beat worse than Ohio State in a championship game... or an egg.

Jason David. 5'8, 180 or smaller. I'm 5'9 run faster and have a better football IQ why I'm not on the team? Oh! I forgot, I'm in college and have three more years.

DT Walter Thomas, I think I could have lasted longer than 9 to 12 minutes.

i think i could have played bertter than john fourcade and i am only 5'8" 160lbs.
a few others would be russel erxlaben (sorry about the spelling), danny wuerfuehl and the billy joe's era(again sorry about the spelling)
