He’s been a favorite Saint of mine for a LONG TIME. Still holds a special place in my black and gold heart. Always gave everything he had on the field and always made time to talk to us fans. Drove from Lafayette once for practice and they moved it inside because of rain. Stuck around in the pouring rain to get an autograph on my helmet…Pierre left the lot, stopped, signed my helmet and gave me his umbrella. Genuine dude right there!

Additionally, I've always thought the Saints win that 49er game, and not even close, if he would've not left the game with that helmet to helmet hit by Whitner in the first quarter. He was just so valuable.
