Smith could still make the team as injury depth in case any of our top 3 WRs misses a game.

MT and Landry has injury history last couple seasons so TQS should still be on the roster, unless a more important player at another position needs the spot. Good quality WR6 to have.

Smith contract is designed for post June release. He'll be in camp. If he survives the roster trim down while he suffers another ankle injury. Probably not

We have yet to see 100% confirmation that CGM is ready to go. No, I'm not saying that he's not... but I would feel a lot better if we see him making some of those quick, hard cuts that he's well known for.

If CGM is ready, then our WR corps will have to be top 3 in the NFL. We will have gone from the outhouse... to the penthouse (comparing our passing game to last season).

We normally.keep 6 WRs so unless someone like Shaheed beats him out he is going to make the 53. Which probably won't happen this year with Shaheed recovering from ACL surgery.
