Saints media lovefest offically over (1 Viewer)

Drew's big days have become common place almost, maybe that where the distinction lies, h

The only reason the Bears won that Eagles game was because of terrible play calling towards the end by Andy Reid. The Eagles passed on 2 or 3 of the downs (incomplete), stopping the clock rather than running and running the time out. So the Bears had time to complete that drive.
Reid's a decent coach but whether on offense or defense, it hapless when there is less than 3 minutes left in a game.

What game from Drew would you put on there? The Jacksonville or San Fran games, I guess? I mean I agree with that, but I can see why they dind't include it. All of those performances on there were either by the playoff QBs (Brady, Favre, Manning, Roethlisberger, Garrard, Hasselbeck, Romo) a QB that just took over the offense and put up over 50 points (Anderson), a QB shutting up critics which is a better story (McNabb), or a guy who engineered a 2 minute drive to win and keep their hopes alive (Griese.) Drew could maybe replace McNabb or Griese on the list but I can see where the 2 minute drill puts Griese on it and I can also see why SI would rather show love to Philly and Chicago, markets and all.

So have Brady's and Manning's, so I don't think that's it. I really don't know why Drew was excluded..... maybe they're mad because they picked the Saints to be playing deep into January.

Perhaps the media love-fest is over, I don't care, really.

It's a shame you don't defend the Saints with the same passion you defend the Patriots -- you likely could have found some way to make a convincing case in Drew's favor. :D

I absolutely defend the Saints with the same passion I defend the Saints, when I'm talking to non Saints fans who bash them. When speaking to Saints fans it's ok to be rational :9:

"Rational" stinks, man, and wouldn't get any of us very far in following the team. ;)

Actually, I'd probably put arizona. 26 of 30 is insane unless you made a deal with the Devil like Brady apparently has. And wasn't there a game where he strung together a decent completion streak?

True, I did forget the Arizona game. If the Saints didn't blow the next two it probably would have made it.

Dude, maybe you should just claim the Patriots and no the Saints. You're always "rational" when it comes to the Saints, but your beloved Patriots can do no wrong. Choose a team bro, you can't have the best of both worlds.

I can do whatever I want to do with my own life, THANKS! :9:

I'm always rational about the Pats, you all just don't agree with it so you feel it's irrational. They do plenty wrong, I've said that the camera thing was stupid, but it's overblown, so sue me. I know that their slow ILBs are a weakness, I've given props to every team that has come close to winning including the Giants and Colts who I really dislike.

The Saints have more flaws than the Pats this year, the Saints were a major disappointment this year, sorry but that is true and it isn't shocking that SI left Brees off the list no matter how deserving he is. Just like it isn't shocking that McKenzie didn't make the pro bowl no matter he deserving he was (and he was) because the Saints secondary as a whole sucks. Just accept this. It isn't hating on the Saints and it isn't showing favoritism because I was god forbid born in Massachusetts and happen to have grown up a Pats fan. None of you give a damn that I'm a Pats fan when I'm sitting in the dome screaming and giving you all high fives during Saints victories, so you shouldn't care now because the team I grew up with happens to be doing well. I didn't even start the Giant Pats hatred thread, and I'm frankly sorry I started the Manning thread because it got blown way out of proportion.

It just seems convenient that when you claim the Pats and the Saints as your favorite teams. It's a win/win situation. If the Pats do well, you have a reason to be happy. If the Saints do well you have a reason to be happy. Just do all of us real Saints fans a favor and jump off the bandwagon right now. We all know you hate the Colts and Peyton Manning especially. I read your posts about Manning having an easier ride to the NFL. You say Brady had such a tough road, but he really didn't. The man played at Michigan. MICHIGAN! Despite the fact that their brand of football is total crap, Michigan is a BIG TIME college football school. Brady was drafted in the 6th round, and kudos to the Pats for seeing something in him, but to say that he had a harder road to the NFL is crap and just proves that you are truely a PATS fan and nothing more. Do you not remember how MR. Brady got his job in the first place? That's right, he pretty much broke the cardinal rule in the NFL. You can't lose your job due to injury, (Unless it is a career ending injury) and thats exactly what he did. He STOLE Drew Bledsoe's job right from under him, and basically ran him out of town. GO TO A PATRIOT BOARD, IT'S WHERE YOU BELONG!
