Saw it last night at a midnight show, pretty cool. Weird looking monster.

No spoilers yet! Im holding off any websites or review, as i dont want to see what the mosnter look slike yet.. i did read its sort of a lost/newborn creature that sorta 'woke up'

I gave in and caught a glimpse of the monster on someones bad cell phone pic. I feel dirty for doing it because I have been waiting a while for this movie to come out. BTW, the monster looks pretty awesome from what I could tell!

It was good, but IMO, it doesn't live up to the hype. I posted my thoughts on it (no spoilers) in the other Cloverfield thread here.

One little tidbit for y'all: Keep a sharp eye out on a shoreline scene in one of the Coney Island "flashbacks."
