Yep. It’s one thing to get suckered in a bad deal or be taken advantage of by unscrupulous people. It’s another thing to know what you are doing is wrong and do it with no remorse. Favre’s text basically admits that he knew what he was doing was wrong and only wanted to ensure he did not get caught. This is horrible. His reputation, the exploitation of extremely poor people, tarnished college and embarrassment of his daughter. For what? A stupid gym…

As a taxpayer, I can't say that a volleyball facility was great use of TANF money, but I don't see that Favre did anything wrong other than ask the governor for help getting the facility built. It's on the governor and his advisers to know if the funding was legal or not legal, not on a retired QB with CTE. But focusing on Favre gets more clicks for the media types.
