The 2022 Saint Offense isn't fooling anyone. (1 Viewer)

I've said it before that we've been tipping our hand heavily to the defense with regularity. And that's just me noticing formation and down/distance tendencies. Imagine what professionals can pick up on watching 40 hours of film a week on us. It's real bad. You don't even need to have superior talent on defense - if you know what's coming, it's easy to stop.

People can get mad and say we need to execute, and that's correct a degree - but we're setting the difficulty to extra hard when we don't need to. Guys are missing blocks on 2nd down runs? I wonder why, because defenses are absolutely selling out and blowing us off the ball because they know what's coming.

I do not think slowing down a play that did not work and commentating over it is exactly a indicator of an offense not fooling anyone. you could just as easily do the same for a play that did work and title the video "The Saints Offense has the potential to be great".

Our substitution packages are a tell....we take out Olave, MT, and Juice, and run on JJ, Traut, and TQS...I can almost guarantee its a run - I was never really a fan of this.

They took their three best receivers off the field for a bunch of run blockers, you won't believe what happened next!

Every week that passes makes me more angry at Mickey Loomis. Terrible decisions when it came to replacing SP. Both on the head coach and offensive coordinator front. Too much talent on this team to be so pathetic.

Not too mention we all know how the game calling will progress.

Ist and second quarter run and short passes. 3rd quarter start throwing intermediate passes.

4th quarter bombs away and throw low probality completions.

Yep we can blame Winston, the coaching staff. But at the end of the day it was Loomis who made this all possible.

A different direction is needed at GM and the roster cleared. If that means eating deadcap so be it.

This was the year for the roster to win. New talent needs to be brought in along with a coaching staff so the process can start.

Our GM took the easy route. I honestly think Loomis did not want to roll the dice starting over so he went with the safe choice. Granted a well-coached team can still beat you even when they know's coming. I said this during the coaching search but DA only knows the offensive people he was exposed to from Payton.

It makes me wonder if Payton had an honest conversation with him before the retirement because I don't think he has a pulse on the league as he did years ago. If we lose this year, I'm in favor of blowing it all up but I doubt he will do that.
