Well, I was severely guilty of never being a fan of Scott Shanle. I will own that for as long as I live, but hey at least I can own up to it. I like to think that I’m very fair and unbiased with my comments……unless we are talking about Russell Wilson…….and that’s all in part to Ciara. Russ can throw 8 picks in one game, but still……..CIARAI will never be able to fathom any fan being against a guy on the team we love, for personal reasons. Just doesn’t add up to me. Been pulling for this team since 1980 and have always rooted for our players. I’m a fan of the team. I’ll never be able to wrap my head around these accusations of certain folks just hating on a player to hate on em. Can’t make it make sense in my mind.
Just saw that he’s also dealing with an ankle injury. Not making another Jameis thread so I’ll drop this here.
Jameis Winston also has an ankle injury
Saints coach Dennis Allen said earlier in the day that Jameis Winston was limited in Wednesday's practice.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
How I feel as well.Preinjury? 1.
Post injury? 3.
Big factsI'm a very big fan of this team no matter what everyone else thinks or says. I pull for every player on this team. If Jameis has a bad game, I still pull for him. He is our QB and needs our support. If some of y'all can't understand that, then go root for the Falcons or some other team. Quit tearing down our players every time they have a bad game.
AmenHe should still be #1. There isn’t enough of a sample size to adequately grade his play. His ability and potential is separates him from the group. He still deserves to prove his worth through the season. We need to find out if he’s the guy for the foreseeable future and I’m not ready to give up on him this early on. His play should be judged by a full season instead of a hand full of games.
I agree that he’s the most talented guy we have, and he deserves more time…but how are we able to see when he’s so banged up?He should still be #1.
