Why does he need to acknowledge something from 65 years ago? To make you or SJW feel better? It won’t change a thing. Because people that think thoughts like you’re saying aren’t really concerned about forgiveness and forgetting. They’re about payback. You ever do anything wrong in your younger days that you wouldn’t want a photo to surface of? Like a poster here, and the Bible says, let he who is without sin cast the first stoneWe do know one thing. Despite him now acknowledging that it is him in the photo, he has never apologized for it in the 65 years since. There were probly hundreds of students in that school and a small number of them chose to go to the school to specifically block the entrance that day to try to prevent black kids from attending his school, and he was one of them.
I agree there is every indication that he has done good in his life as he matured. However, he does need to acknowledge that his actions back then on that day were racist and wrong.
