Yeah, I agree, right now it is very far fetched, but the combine raises draft stock more than the senion bowl does and there are a few first round players rumored to be workout freaks that will also break top 10 such as...
- Harvey
- V. Gholston
- C. Campbell
- Talib
- M. Jenkins
- K. Phillips
- McKelvin
- Rivers
...just to name a few. I could see this happening after it's all said and done. Although, I have also heard that Ellis is also a workout freak, so who knows???

Cromartie at 6??? I think he'll be a mid 1st...

Based on the Senior Bowl, his lineage, and a strong combine it is very possible. This guy is looking to the future, not the draft if it were tomorrow. We are still early in the process and the top 10 will have at least 2 to 3 more names in there before its all said and done.

I'd love to have Ellis fall to #10...but I honestly don't see him dropping that far. He dominated in the Senior Bowl and probably quaranteed himself a top 5 selection.

Now here is where I get laughed at! I think that Cromartie is a top 10 pick...I'd heard great things about the guy and he blew me away during the Senior Bowl game. I don't think he goes top 6 but top 10 might not be out of reach for him, IMHO.

It depends on the combine because if Gholston and Harvey blow up the combine they will be appealing to the 3-4 teams ahead of us.

Yeah, Ellis is looking like a pipe-dream now unless we trade up.

For Cromartie with a good combine, low 40 (4.38 or a 4.40), a nice vertical jump, tests out decent for IQ, maybe gets in some nice reps for bench press (10-20), interviews go great...he will be a Top 15 pick easily.

Also, you can't disregard his height (a perfect size at 6'1) which is a big plus, talent and play-making skills...that all amounts to his stock rising very high. I have a good feeling about him, so we shall see at the combine.

Everyone knew Brady Quinn was going to Cleveland last year. But NO ONE thought it'd be as the 22nd pick. Vernon Davis skyrocketed high in the draft based off his combine, as have many other players. While the best drafting teams usually draft BPA, most of the teams at the top of the draft don't. There's not one pick in this guy's mock that made me think he was crazy. Everyone of them made sense for that team. Sure, you could argue many could also use Ellis, but they also need who they "picked" as well. It's really not crazy to think Ellis will be there at 10. No one thought Reggie would be there at 2.

Ellis at 10 will not happen, during the game, the scout in the booth at Ellis rated above Dorsey because of his showing during the week. Also, Cromartie may be the first Corner taken in the draft, he was impressive!

no way rivers falls out of the first round.

I don't know about that. He is very athletic, but he did not impress me throught the practices and senior bowl. He may have benefited more from playing with superior talent (Ellis, Mauluga(sp?)) than most people think. He has the tools, but hasn't put it together yet.

looks pretty good to me, the only question mark i saw was the jets taking Harvey from Florida over Ghoston from Ohio State, but thats just me...man I hope it works out that way, every pick look like the right player going to the right team.
