SR Member Demographics: How Many Live In or Around NOLA v. Out Of Town (1 Viewer)

Something I've always wondered but never gotten around to posting until now is: Are the majority of SR members New Orleans (or Southern La.) residents-- or do most live elsewhere?? I have a theory that non-NOLA residents outnumber locals here, because- while those living in NOLA are bombarded with Saints news daily- those of us who are expats or who have never lived in New Orleans have to seek out our Saints news and bonding, explaining how we found and joined SR. I could be way off on that, but I'm sure that the number of non-locals is greater than most think. I'd wager that most (but definitely not all) of us are originally from NOLA, but for purposes of this poll please vote based on where you live now. Interested to see what the results will be...

I'm a born and raised St Bernardian. I've been living in the Lafayette area because of the storm and while it's a nice place, I don't really fit in and miss N.O./St Bernard all the time. Most of my family and friends are back in the N.O. area since the storm so I go there pretty much almost every weekend and holiday's.

Man I'm a born and raised St. Bernardian but I'm living in Houston now. I must say, I love THE PARISH to death, and all of my friends and family are back in LA, I thoroughly enjoy it here in Texas. I'll be back in N.O. in March though. I can't wait.

Born in Mobile, have family in New Orleans with the Rubinstein's Brothers as in laws to my cousin. I have a lot of roots going back to Nawlins to the late 19th century after the Civil War.

My Dad almost got a job working off shore in the oil boom in the mid 70's so I have a long affair with this town that goes far back long before I was born. Its odd too, I live in Mobile and was born here but I consider myself a New Orleans native because of my family ties here.

It may seem odd but thats how proud I am of this city
