Still a young DB, Abram turns 27 into October. Better at blitzing than in deep coverage, but I don’t doubt Allen and defensive coaches will put him in best position to succeed when needed.

It feels like last year’s Sorenson signing, but only younger. Sorenson became known as a liability in coverage, but did his assignments for us and was in the right place at the right time when making a few turnover plays last season.

Hard hitting run defender. I think a lot of missed tackles that Mathieu tried to one hand vs RBs and open field WRs last year would have thoroughly been made by Abram.

I like the signing. Guy has a ton of potential, I know he was a Raider first round pick and that doesn't say much, but he's a good box safety with a lot of speed.
