What has everyone else done while at work that's funny? Here's one I plan on doing tomorrow just to see what happens:

I'm going to unplug my victim's mouse and see just how it takes to get one of the IT guys out there to correct the problem.
I did something similar yesterday by simply unplugging the electric pencil sharpener. I'm not sure how long the maintenance request took, but I'm sure it wasn't very late in the morning !

I hid the golf pro's elebentybillion dollar Mizuno driver (which he got free) from him one day.

He didn't think it was as funny as I did.

I just sign people up for things. The Olsen Twin fan club, AARP, porn sites, etc...

Nothing elaborate, but the effects are usually long lasting and nearly impossible to reverse.

find out what breaker feeds outlets in your boss's office. wire the breaker wires to the main feed before it goes to the 200 amp breaker. it will now be wired to the main voltage from the pole outside and only the breakers on the transformer or substation can stop it. since it is 115 volts one wire goes to high voltage and the other to the neutral bar.

ok here's the prank. take your bosses pencil sharpener or computer power cord and skin it. take one of the power leads black or white and cut it. now cut the green wire (ground) and tie them together. leaving cable not connected to the device, but plug into the wall.

now watch your boss try to figure out why the pc isnt coming on, then watch as your boss's face be enamored with delight as they found the solution. the power cable is unpluged....duh. when your boss plugs it in watch the major amount of sparks once the computer turns on.

FYI. this is a joke and will kill someone obviously. i just wanted to see the reaction to this.

Just try not to look too obvious. For added bonus, drop a few drops of kerosene under the outlet, that way the sparks cause a fire. Then douse it with holy water so you can say "Holy smokes"! I think your boss will understand...

Oh you have to be dressed as a Starfleet officer when you do this preferably Capt picard. when you see this event happen to your boss say computer get Dr. Crusher and report my boss to sick bay. turn to all the employees and say make it so.

"unplugging a mouse"???
"Unplugging a pencil sharpener"????

Dang dude, sounds like the company you work for is stuck in the 80's !!!!

One prank we did last year: Placed a small cup of dry ice inside a co-worker's computer while he was at lunch (gives the effect that your computer is on fire.).....

I used to be a big fan of getting to the office early and stealing the ball inside everyones mouse. I worked in a large company and I would have 30 mouse balls (mouse balls, jeez is there a better way to put it). I only did it once every couple months.

There is another thing I did where i would take a screen shot of their pc, put all the icons on there desktop into another folder, and put the screen shot up as the back ground. Now there is no icons to click on, however it looks like there is.

That's one of my favorites, and I'm saving it for 4/1. It may push this particular employee over the edge, though.

heh, I put a small piece of tape over the earpiece of my co-workers phone receiver. Funny as all heck after three phone calls of her yelling inot the phone " Speak up , i cant hear you" and "We have a bad connection". Then the whole complaining thing started about her phone ( we just got all new phones and Voice-over IP so they are darn like a computer! ) IT was hilarious.
