anyone have any experience in this? A truck wrecked the whole side of my 2006 Scion TC , both front and rear bumpers are damaged, both fenders, the door and the mirror, and tail light, anyone know what this will cost to fix? also , does the color of paint matter? My car is one of 2600 in this blue color. I am trying to get a broad idea of what it will cost before the adjuster looks at it. I went to Toyota and another body shop and they didnt want to be bothered to give me an estimate.

A lot...

Why do you want an estimate of the damage before you get an estimate from the bodyshop? If you're trying to go around insurance it appears to be way too much damage.

I had a car tap my rear bumper a few months ago. The repair bill to remove the bumper, fill in the nicks, repaint, and reinstall the bumper was $515. In this case, we kept the insurance companies out of the loop and the guy paid for the repair bill (in cash) but that's the exception and not the rule.

I posted some pics of the damage to my 06 Sentra SE-r and the final bill came out to around 5K. They never tell you up front how much it is. The bodyshop guy will give you an estimate, then the adjuster will yay or nay it, then they take it apart and find more damage.
