Jenkins and McKelvin 40 times (1 Viewer)

I have this feeling that Cason will be the best CB to come out of this draft... and he'll likely be available when we pick in the 2nd round.

Nice time for Jenkins, I am digging the CB class. I want one of these Guys.

I really wanna see what Talib and DRC run. (I like the tall corners) as long as they still got skills.

Justing King also ran nice (kinda knew he would).

I though Mekelvin would run faster, from what I understand tho.. he needs to show more in the hands drills. Tho I wouldn't be to worried, Id take just a defelected pass over a 40 yd TD which we see on the regular now.

Think I like about these guys as well, they all have pretty good size, bet alot do well in the weight room 15 - 20 reps. Most these guys are right or around 200 lbs.

I am also really interested in what DRC puts up, he just looks so lanky, real long arms. I think he will bench poorly, so I hope he runs fairly well.

I hope you're right that he is available in the 2nd.

I think he will be... there is always a "run" on CBs in the draft. Some years it starts early... Some years it starts in the middle of the 1st... and Some years it's a late 1st run.

IMO, there are about 5 CBs this year that carry a 1st to early 2nd round grade.... none of them is worth a top 10 pick IMO... I expect them to start flying off the shelf around the middle of the 1st... and Cason could be sitting there for us in the early 2nd (or someone like Cason).

The are starting it now (combine coverage starts at 11 EST and i;m home sick) so i will post when I see some... unless others get to it first

Please keep posting the times some of us can't see them today.

So far, they just rehashed those that have already run. All unofficial of course.

Branch - 4.29
B Flowers - 4.58
C Jackson - 4.58
T Johnson - 4.43
J King - 4.31
L McKelvin - 4.40

Tyrell Johnson ran a 4.43.

He's a tremendous athlete, someone to keep in mind at Safety.

King would be a great pickup in the 4th. Guy has skills....didn't have as good a junior year as fresh/soph, but guy can play decent ball.

He has the best ball skills of any CB I saw in college this year. The only question is his speed. He is great at playing the ball in the air, but if he lacks catch up speed he is going to get burned. A 4.5 is probably good enough from him to get by with his great ball skills, but it really depends on how that speed breaks down and how it translates on the field. From what I've seen, he looks fast enough.

Anway, I do think he will end up being the best CB in the group. I just hope the 4.5 drops him to our second round pick.
