If we go corner, most people are coming round to Rodgers-Cromartie or McKelvin.
If we have to choose, who would you prefer us taking, or would you still go other with Talib/Jenkins/Flowers/Cason?
I'd be happy with either but more with DRC

In a poll the other day it said who do you think the Saints would draft? I really saw us drafting McKelvin since the options in the FA market for corner are not that strong. After DRC's perfromance today and seeing that he had good interviews with the Saints and the fact that he is from a smaller school, I think we will draft him. I will be happy with that choice if it happens.

I like Talib or Cromartie. McKelvin gets a bump overall because of his return abilities. You can argue he's not even the 4th best cover corner. But, to have two 6 ft guys with equal or in my opinion better skills than a couple of 5'10" guys like Jenkins and McKelvin, it's an easy choice.

I would reach for DRC at 10. I like his speed, but probably more his size.

What about his ball skills? and that he can tackle solidly? and that he can play ST? Total Package.

I have a GREAT feeling about this kid...the same feeling I got when I read about Colston and when we got him.

Cromartiemania is sweeping the gulf coast!

(and one house in Canada. :hihi:)

Honestly I am holding out hope that Cason or Flowers are still available in the second round. I know Jenkins will be gone by then.

i'm jumping on the cromartie bandwagon and hoping to ride it all the way to pick #10 round 1

I'm not liking the idea of picking a CB @ #10 unless we have sufficiently addressed the situation in FA. But, to play the game, I'll go DRC even though I voted against him in the other poll because I really believe we should go DL/LB @ #10. So that's the sole No to DRC vote. :hihi:

Wow... I really hope we don't skip on the best CB in the draft for a guy that has never played real competition...

Jenkins is the top CB, and I don't think DRC is even close to his level... Luckily I think that most NFL teams agree, so I hope that we're amongst them...

:homer:

Jenkins is worthy of being called the top CB in this class, but to say DRC isn't close to his level is ridiculous.
