Tracy Porter
Indiana
5' 11"
185 lbs.
4.37 40
4.07 20 shuttle (FASTEST IN CB'S)
11.62 60 shuttle (2nd FASTEST in CB'S)
Verticle (Not in top 9)

This kid is from Port Allen, LA. He ran great, he looked great in his back pedal and running drills. He put up great numbers at Indiana & also is an exceptional return man!!!

After the combine I don't think he'll be there in round 3, so he is now a strong possibility in round 2.

Yeah, Porter is a solid cover cornerback. He'll take some time but he has skills. I could definitely see him as one of those guys who slips a little bit like Ashton Youbouty did and be there in the third. Of course, if there is the typical run on CBs early, he'll be taken in the second. If he is there in the third, or late second even, I would consider moving up for him.

My goal would be to add a DT in round 1, a LB in round 2 (unless Desean Jackson is on the board becuase we need a gamebreaking return guy), and a CB in round 3.

I would definately love to see.
1) Glenn Dorsey (I just think he's going to fall a little bit because of the injury(BS) concerns and the Saints will be glad to scoop him up).
2) Jerod Mayo (this is the LB I want, I think he'll be a star)
3) Porter (would be a great 3rd round pick)

If it happened that well and we signed Samuel to go along with that I wouldn't be able to sleep the night after the draft. I prefer Lofton over Mayo, and I know Mayo will go higher...Lofton has a SLIGHT chance at falling to round 2.

1. DRC if gone Talib
2. Lofton if gone Mayo
3. Bryant if gone Pressley

Those shuttle times are impressive. I bet he has a ball joint for hips...

While watching the combine it seems to me that Talib is the most natural athlete of the this DB class.

I'm not sold on DRC at all, and with a that good 40 time Porter may jump into the 2nd round.

I'm totally opposite...Talib just looks uncomfortable out there...and they even said how raw he is. He didn't look smooth at all IMO, Cromartie just does it all effortlessly. Even Deion was laughing everytime he got into a back pedal because he made it look so easy.

agreed. talib was showed giving up on plays in both man and zone, and in his drills he looked completely choppy and far from smooth. cromartie was so smooth that he took over the combine yesterday. even if you like talib, we won't pick him because he has character issues as well. there is no way talib is the better corner.

Like I said i beleive is the most natural athlete, not the best DB.

I really don't know if there is DB that is a good value at # 10

He didn't look like a natural athlete, by comparison to DRC, at all to me. If you watched (or listened) to the NFLN coverage of the drills at the combine they were saying how out of control he looked during the drills and how he didn't have smooth hips or quick feet. Side by side I just don't think there is any comparison when you're considering a #10 pick.

The only other Corner I think is an alternative to DRC is McKelvin and his hands aren't as good - so he doesn't 'finish' as many plays with the pick.

I really like this guy, enough in fact to rank him the third best CB available behind DRC & Aqib Talib. Jenkins then Cason round out my top CB's. This kid is a ball hawk and lightning in a bottle quick. I would absolutely love to see this kid in the B&G
