I got this in an email from WWL; they will carry the news conference:

Will LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux ever join the Tiger football team
again? Will he take part in spring practices that begin Friday?

Coach Les Miles addresses the issue today as he holds a news conference at
12:30pm. You can hear Mile live on WWL FM 105.3 and WWL.com.

Miles announced last week that he had suspended the 21-year-old LSU
quarterback. Miles said Perrilloux had violated unspecified team rules.
This is at least the third time Miles has suspended Perrilloux.

Perrilloux was the heir apparent to Matt Flynn after the Tigers' National
Championship run last year. He even split snaps with Flynn during some of
the season and started two games including the SEC Championship.

Reviewing the staff changes, why he was late, weight room production has been good so far, etc. I'm sure the RP news will be last.

RP, suspended indefinitely, broke team rules, his responsibility now is "to do everything right" so he can get back on the team, there will be no questions about RP.

Typical Miles...gives an update but won't volunteer a lot of information. That's what's best, IMO. I like his press conference style.

Nah, the nature of radio listenership when dealing with something like this is that people tune in, get the news they were looking for and tune out. It's a way to get the news out to as many people as possible....because not everybody listens at the same time because of various issues...work, kids...etc...etc....

And that's just fine by me. You should hear the difference between a Jeter interview and an ARod interview. Jeter doesn't give you much, but a microphone in ARod's face is enough for him to say anything out of obligation.
