Let the swiftboating begin! I'm guessing they're pretty sure they know who's going to be the Democratic nominee...

I'm so happy to work for a Tennessee Republican.

ANTI-SEMITES FOR OBAMA

NASHVILLE, TN - The Tennessee Republican Party today joins a growing chorus of Americans concerned about the future of the nation of Israel, the only stable democracy in the Middle East, if Sen. Barack Hussein Obama is elected president of the United States.

“It’s time to set the record straight about Barack Obama and where he really stands on vital issues such as national security and the security of Israel,” said Robin Smith, chairman of the Tennessee Republican Party. “Voters need to know about two items that surfaced today which strongly suggest that an Obama presidency will view Israel as a problem rather than a partner for peace in the Middle East.

But wait, there's more!

lmao. "Leading by conviction." He must have worked for Reagan. :smilielol:

*pop*

The sound of the pea-brains of skinheads popping like popcorn.

"Do we support McCain? But he's a jew lover. Obama hates jews. But he's black! And they all like illegal aliens!!!!"

They won't be voting. It's going to take them a while to get their faith back in the system now that Paul has lost.

:hihi:

You know the thing of it is, as big of a McCain supporter as I have been for 8 years now, the more this stuff goes on, the more I feel like voting for Obama out of sheer malicious spite.

For me the thing is I'm pretty sure McCain won't have any part in this himself so it won't effect me. It will happen but I won't punish McCain for the ignorance of some in his party. Frankly the same people attacking Obama were probably attacking McCain before he became the presumptive nominee.

What I think we'll see from McCain is clear condemnation of this type of stuff. As long as he does that, and I think he showed yesterday he will, we're all good.

I don't agree with the sentiments being expressed here but anytime you see Louis Farrakhan and that Harvard professor saying or condoning Palestinian attacks on Jews in Israel. its asking for something like this I'm sorry its inevitable that it were to happen. Obama knows I'm sure what kind of crap Farrakhan is into and the idiots on the left but to have these people support violence against Jews is wrong. Pure wrong. I mean you people know what Farrakhan is all about. he is a well known anti-Semite who once called Jews blood suckers and even Jesse Jackson once called NYC, Himey town in reference to Jews in the city. thats asking for it guys.

I don't like comments like these and I 'm going on the record as such, but to have well known radicals at Harvard and in the Nation of Islam spewing racist crap, this sort of stuff is going to happen.

I like Obama and think he is a good candidate but some of the more radical people supporting do concern me because their bigots. They are ridiculous and have a well known past for being that way

"Probably"? For a fact many of them were. Hell many of them were the ones who questioned his sanity after being a POW, accused him of having a "black baby", etc.

That said, it still ticks me off to the point where I feel like "punishing" them the best way I know how, giving them exactly what they fear the most (outside of their daughter being knocked up by a black guy. Which I assure you, if I could arrange...)

Does the fact that he denounces AND rejects them matter?

SBTB, of course it matters. and you know Obama cannot control always who stumps for him. My issue with this, at least the OP brought up, is how is the rest of the country going to see this? SBTB, you know that the electorate is not as informed as it should be sometimes. I wonder that too myself, I just think that after 8 years of bickering and infighting, we should have two candidates who are going to tell the people the truth, level with us. Don't let talking heads do all the hand wringing and pumped up speeches for them.
Let them be the voices that I want to hear. And I know you feel the same way too, Saint.
Sometimes Saint we as voters do not think for ourselves. Its all about partisan politics. Swing votes, people saying this is who you should vote for. Lets try to rise above that.

If Independent thinking can be a factor in this year's election man, then we have come a long way in 8 years. Lets let people vote for the man, and not the party. Obama believes that, so does MCcain in a way.

It might easier for me to accept Obama's rejection and denunciation of Farrakhan than it is for me to accept McCain's rejection of the Tennessee GOP, though I would certainly give both men the benefit of the doubt.

The fact is that as a candidate, you can't control what kind of bigots (NoI) or sleaze merchants (TN-GOP) may endorse you. You can only react and hope that the people have faith in your character.
