Last night I was out with a few friends and Dorsey came in to get a few drinks. I had met and worked with him two years ago at LSU, so we sat down and had a few drinks. I asked him about all this injury stuff and he said hes not concerned about it at all. He thinks its just a smokescreen from teams who are drafting lower who would like to him fall to them. I asked him what he thought about joining the Saints and he smiled his goofy smile and said that would be cool. Said he doesn't wanna drop that far and laughed, but said it would be cool to stay in state. I wont name anyteams but there were a few in the top 10 he said he hope didn't draft him. It started getting busy and people were harrasing him to take pictures and give autographs. He stayed for about 15 mins doing that and then was like i gotta get outta here. I said welcome to the NFL lol...Hes a really great guy and we can only hope he falls to us.

He got chopblocked on one of the dirtiest plays I've seen in a long time. I think any player would be "prone" to injury on a play like that.

You're right that it was an outrageously dirty play, but that doesn't change the fact he's coming off an injury. I'm a huge LSU fan myself, and I just didn't see Dorsey making the impacted in the second half of the year that he made in the first.

All that being said, I'd love to see him in a Saints uniform. The injury is a very valid concern, though.

Why, because he said so? What else is he going to say? That doesn't mean he doesn't secretly hope he doesn't get drafted by them. I bet he would publicly say he would LOVE to play for any team that happens to have a top 3 pick, even if he privately doesn't have any interest in playing for the team other than where they happen to be picking. I believe the OP's story and that Dorsey privately doesn't want to play for certain teams with high picks. I'm just curious to know which ones they are.
