what do yall think about us possibly signing him as our backup qb?

i personally think that he would be a great backup to brees.

yes any qb w/ his knowledge and experience can help you even if he never sees the field!!!

..He's played for some great offensive minds, and he seems smart as well.

I think he'd be a definite upgrade to Martin, whom I have nothing bad to say about except "we can do better."

The knock on Green is his durability. Two serious concussions can take its toll.

He'd be great as long as he never actually has to play. I think he's one or two hits away from being a vegetable.

I've lived in south Fla for a long time now. Do not even think about this!

If someone actually tries to sign this guy, I believe his wife put a stop to it before his brain damage gets any worse!

ddd can be a commedian, but not on this matter.

honestly, i will be just as excited about signing trent green than devery or stecker. i say that because the man is a starter; only age and injuries have moved him to being a backup. jamie martin was a lifetime backup, and hadn't played a complete game probably in 10 years. green would bring experience, knowledge, and leadership to NO. we need more guys like that in our locker room. plus hes familiar face. that is always good for marketing our team. i hope we get him

excellent! as long as he is only issued a backwards baseball cap and a large clipboard.

If his wife were going to put a stop to it than why is he even visiting teams? :dunno:

I think it'd be a tremendous signing. The main concern, of course, is his durability, but as backup you're really only looking at (hopefully) small stretches when he might have to play at most. You're not relying on him (hopefully) for a full 16 game season making it much less of an issue.

Fair question, and I have no answer.

She has stepped in before, (I have no proof, just my word).

They are rich, this isn't necessary, and I don't know why she doesn't. I guess its OK with her, but that doesn't make sense to me.
