This is why I feel like we have to go CB in the 1st round

I know it's just a video game, but I played Madden against my friend yesterday after making all the offseason moves we have so far other than the draft.

Got burnt deep every time, by whoever wasn't covered by McKenzie. It was like a safety net, he could sit in the pocket look for better options and if he was about to get hit, just throw it to the side of the field McKenzie isn't on and watch his guy catch the ball for yet another spectacular 10-15+ yard gain, our receivers also had the drops but that's do to bad programming, drop balls are a problem in that game and always have been.

Point is, it reminded me of how bad our secondary was this year. I do feel Dorsey and Ellis are better at their position than any of the CB's in this draft are at theirs and therefore should be taken if we're in a position to draft them. However if they're gone it's got to be a corner for me, especially if DRC, Talib, or McKelvin are still on the board. If they're gone we should go offensive line with Clady because he should definitely still be there if our top 5 defensive choices are gone. The guy would be BPA and we all know our line protection and particularly our push on running plays needs to be improved.

If we don't take one in the first, then we HAVE to take one in the second. Cason would be nice from the "second-tier" group, and I'd be happy with Clady and Cason assuming all the others mentioned before them were gone when we made the picks.

Also we could really use a Safety, so if we go corner in the first and somehow Phillips is available in the second, I feel the F.O. needs to do what it can to get him on this team. If not, then we should just give Bullocks and co. one last chance to prove us wrong and definitely pick one up next year should they fail to do so.
