This is why I feel like we have to go CB in the 1st round

Scott, did you know that Deon has been training with DRC and gives him very high marks? Did you also know that Antonio Cromartie made the comparison also and said that he is the same type of player that he is? All the draft guru's are saying that DRC has the most potential of all the CB prospects in this draft and that is upside is tremendous. He was clearly the most fluid CB at the combine. He also did more than hold his own at the Senior bowl against top flight prospects. He had a pick in every practice but one, and had a pick in the game itself. He also has an all time (in college) completions percentage against him of a measely 34% which is amazing. You can't argue with those numbers. And yes, Deon Sanders. Great speed and size like Deon, and makes plays all over the field.

To imply that DRC is the next Dion Sanders is quite a statement. I don't think DRC has earned that. Did you know that Dion ran a 4.2? I don't think that DRC is even CLOSE to that kind of talent. DRC probably has the most talent of all the CBs in the draft this year, but he also has some of the least tape and experience against quality opponents of any of the 1st or 2nd round CBs.

He may well turn out to be a great CB, but to imply he is the next Dion is well... a reach. :)
