I agree that Gholston to the Rams is a possibility. The thought of him coming around the edge on that turf is a scary combination. Also take into account that Jim Haslett is the Defensive Cordinator and he has a pattern of drafting a) workout warriors B) Defensive Lineman and C) players from Ohio State.

A lot of the scouting reports on Ellis seem to think that he can play 3-4 DE and the Pats do mix in some 4-3 and Richard Seymour has been hurt a lot lately. Belichick's drafting history seems to favor this pick but I agree that McKelvin is a possiblity.

I think you flat out wrong on Mario Manningham. Louis Castillo still went in the 1st round after testing positive for steriods. In addition, several of last year's prospects came out and admitted they smoked marijuana around this time. It was a big deal on ESPN at the time and several of those individuals still went very high in the 1st round.
