What I would give up to get Dorsey who just happens to be just what we need!!!

One thing that I've noticed on here, many folks seem to treat this mythical draft chart as the end-all/be-all final word when it comes to trades.

I think it's more like the sticker price on a vehicle. If it's a standard edition truck among hundreds of similar trucks on the lot--you can negotiate the price down. If it's a special limited edition they can only get 10 of and already have a 50 name waiting list--you pay a premium for it. And some premiums cost more than others. And if you don't like/can't afford the premium, you walk away.

If the Dolphins take Jake Long @1, Rams could be losing Orlando Pace and desperately need a new OT to replace him, but decide Clady, Albert, nor Williams is worth pick #2 $, and know they can still have their choice @ 10--it makes them a lil more open to negotiate a trade.

Same with KC.

I'm not making a prediction here, just stating that $$$ and needs can also dictate whether a team is willing to move around in the draft--or take a veteran player at a position of need for them to make a trade happen.

The trade chart doesn't make the trades, but needs and the feeling of coming out a winner on a deal will make trades.
