McAllister's deal proves there's no loyalty in NFL

First let me preface by saying I'm a huge Deuce fan but the whole premise of the article is wrong......where is the Saints loyalty to Deuce?......well....asking him to restructure after his second knee injury instead of cutting him outright is the ultimate in loyalty in today's NFL. The "smart" move would have been to let his roster bonus pass thus "releasing" him. Then re sign him to a cheap vet minimum deal. That happens all the time, just look at the Bucs and Kevin Carter. But instead the Saints FO did the "right" thing and negotiated with Deuce before the roster bonus was due. Sorry but if you remove the name Deuce McAllister from the equation and put it like this - what would you be willing to pay a thirty something vet RB coming off knee injuries to both knees? Like I said the Saints showed Deuce as much respect as being a salary cap responsible team will allow.....
