Fans bail on faltering Saints

Players say don't blame the bye week

NEW ORLEANS - Scott Fujita looked around the Louisiana Superdome during the fourth quarter and saw something was missing - the fans.

The New Orleans Saints linebacker said he was disappointed to see that three-quarters of the stadium crowd were gone during the final quarter of the Saints' 35-22 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Fujita, who has become a fan favorite, wanted to send a message to those who left.

"(The media) can put it in headlines or wherever you want," Fujita said. "So far this season what's been unique and rare is the players and fans have been in this thing together.Full Story - The Sun Herald
