Saints @ Denver

Gummbo-

The Curtis is cool. Walking distance to MileHigh if you are able bodied and the weather is nice (less than a mile). There is a great Mexican place right near you, called Tomatillo (i think). You are also right next to the 16th Street Mall, which is an open air mall. There is a free bus that runs up and down, and takes you to the light rail, which is really convenient for you.

The restaurant that you mentioned, I have never been to- so I cant tell you much (sorry). Where you are, in respect to the city, is within walking distance of pretty much everything.

Someone mentioned the Rockies. I hate the Rockies, but Coors field is really nice (brewery in the Stadium- that is a full bar as well.) You can get Rockpile tickets for really cheap and they are Denver's version of the bleachers at Wrigley.

Some of the good bars: If you are a beer man (like me) you must go to the Falling Rock TapHouse, on 19th and Blake. THey have over 60 beers on tap, and more than that in the bottle- and a great patio. Good sports bar downtown is the BlakeStreet Tavern, or The Sports Column. Theses are all in LODO (lower downtown) right next to Coors Field.

If you are looking for a good Brewery, The Breckenridge Brewery is just north of Coors Field. The best breweries are not in Denver, rather they are in Boulder, Fort Collins and in the mountains. My personal favorite is in a little town called Idaho Springs. If you have some time and a car, it is in the mountains only about 30 minutes from Denver. The brewery is call the TommyKnocker Brewery. It is small, and the bar is in the same room as the brewery kettles and the bottling area- which is really cool. Plus their food is out of sight.

I will try to link some more stuff as I think about it. I am really looking forward to the game. I cant wait to meet a lot of you!
