The Older I get the Less I Can Stand Teenagers!

It's not so much that I'm trying to defend myself. It is more that I am disgusted and sick of being treated different solely based on my age. If I can carry a decent conversation with someone they shouldn't talk down to me or act different towards me because I was born after them. All that matters is that I don't act in a way the disapprove of, but I am still treated like I do. I go out of my way to do things for people and it goes unnoticed because it must have been an accident or something, there is no way there is actually someone who is 16 years old and is a considerate decent human being. I go out of my way to treat others with respect regardless of any stereotype, whether they're 60 years old or 6 years old, whether they are black, white, Hispanic, Asian or anything. That isn't what matters. All that matters to me is that they respect me and I will respect them back. Is it too much to ask that I receive respect from elder people when I treat them with respect? All I want is to be treated the same way I treat them, not the way they've been treated by 16 year olds before. I've grown tired of being treated disrespectfully, not because I don't treat that person with respect, but because I am 16. It's really just rude.

To Rob, Don't take this as an attack or offensively, I have no problem with you at all. I am just trying to express the way I feel.
