London trip

Thanks for the info. Just entered $107 a night for a 4 star in Kensington and got a hotel room. $107 US is unheard of in London. I'm on the west side of Hyde Park, but only 5 minutes from the Tube.
That was the last piece of my puzzle. Thanks for the great tip.

Priceline adds taxes and fees to the price. I wonder if that includes the VAT that the tack on to hotels in London? After it was all said and done the room came out to $128/night. Still not bad.

You've done really well there, Kensington is pretty much the nicest area in London. Chelsea FC play there and on the weekend the Saints are playing they are home to Liverpool(which is one of the biggest football games in Europe) so oyu might want to try and get a ticket for that?

Anyone flying to Gatwick has done well, you can get a direct train to Kings Cross(main tube station in London) from the airport and you won't have to endure the nightmare of Heathrow(England's answer to JFK).
