How did Carolina beat Baltimore? ...We should do the same...

You really think so? I think he'll for sure be a 1st day pick, but a 1st rounder? He's not the type to come in and be a team's "featured" back, and FBs usually don't go until the 2nd day no matter what. It's possible he could be the "gem" that slips to the early 4th round.

Whatever happens, someone's gonna get a heckuva player in Leonard.

Well the fact that he is really a "flex" player is what drives his stock up. He isn't just a blocking fullback. He has good speed and moves to be as big as he is, outstanding hands, and a RB's vision.

I think a lot of teams are seeing the trend to 2 backs in the NFL these days, especially what the Giants are doing with Tiki/Jacobs, and a number of teams are going to look at Leonard as an option there. It's actually a little similiar in concept to how we use Reggie but "big". You can line Leonard up as a FB, HB, TE, etc. So a team like the Steelers who have been searching for a big back (is Davenport really a long-term answer?) might love to take a flier on a guy like Leonard to pair up with Willie Parker.

Of course, all of this depends on how his combine goes. If he comes out and busts a 4.6 or worse he can kiss any high pick good by. If he can get his time around 4.5 though, yeah, I see him in the late first to second round.
