Just face it, the pressure is all on the Saints to win this game.

Sorry KD.. but there's no pressure. We weren't supposed to be here.. Heck, nobody thought we were going to be here 11 weeks into the season.

Now we're here, they're scared.. they can't afford to be beat by the "sympathy story". The pressure is on everyone else to beat us.

Honestly, the whole "They're not supposed to be here" story is yesterday's news. Expectations don't stay stagnant; they rise with accomplishment. We've got as big a bandwagon as any other team in the NFC right now. We're coming off the bye, healthy and rested. We've got the homefield (where we historically haven't played particularly well). We've got history on our side. We have every advantage on paper in this game. Which means we have all the pressure to win.

Top 2 seeds and first round byes don't come along every year in the NFL. Now that the team earned its spot with hard work and a little good fortune, the onus is on the guys to finish the job. There's no way we get all the way to this point and not feel heartily disappointed with a one-and-done on our own homefield. We're too in love with this team, the stars are too perfectly aligned, the storyline is too rich. You have to make your championship pushes when you can, because there's no guarantee Brees doesn't tear his rotator cuff or Colston his achilles or Bush his ACL next training camp.

I've got a lot of confidence in this group. They've got a lot to play for and I think they'll get it done.
