Jonathan Vilma Arrested - Confirmed

to begin with.... im not charging him.. this is about his actions causing people to loose respect for him.. he has been accused of driving recklessly, and almost running over 2 people in the street. this has been reported now in several places. based on what has been reported we do know what occurred.

1. he was arrested. loss of respect.
2. charged with resisting. loss of respect.
3 he was charged with reckless driving. loss of respect
4 he could have injurred or killed someone do to his recklessness. big loss of respect.
5. he wanted to argue with the police stating im not getting out till i know whats going on. he knew what he had done and was caught. no loss of respect just childish.

do i hate him. no
does he need to go to prison? no
do i want him on the team? yes.
is he a good guy. Probably! just needs to do some growing up.

Very interesting. I guess people cannot blow their nose around you without you losing respect for them.

This can go a lot of ways right now.

The cops say I was weaving in traffic, I say I was changing lanes.

The cops say I almost hit a pedestrian, I say the crosswalk sign was telling them to yield to traffic.

The cops say I was running a red light, I say that it was yellow when I entered the intersection so I sped up to get through before traffic began to move from the other directions.

The cops say I was resisting arrest, I say that I don't trust cops because I saw them abuse their authority growing up and I want to know where I am standing with them when they pull me over.

Two sides to every coin. And you see so very well, grasshopper.

Lots of assumptions made on this thread.
1. Vilma was drunk or on drugs.
2. The cop was white and was engaging in racial profiling.
3. The incident took place in South Beach. (Did it?)
4. University of Miami players tend to be thugs.
5. The news report is 100% accurate.
Some of these assumptions have proven to be conclusion-jumping. Not a lot of them have been verified.

Quoted for truth.
