N/S Cutler trade to Bears (mega merge)

You guys are selling the Bears offense short... Their biggest short-coming has been their QB, and now they got a really good one.

They have a playmaker in Hester, a very good all-around RB in Forte, and good young WR in Earl Bennett, and a very solid pass-catching TE in Greg Olsen. They've got a very solid interior O-line, a young OT in Chris Williams...

All they need is a bigger type possession WR and their offense could be VERY good with Cutler back there.

Hester was better as a punt and kickoff returner. He gave the Bears more TD's than he has a receiver so far. I agree with you, the Bears need to get a WR and will likely do so with their second round pick in the draft if they are smart. Their OL is solid now, with getting Orlando Pace. The only thing that will hurt the Bears this year is that the defense is getting old and didn't produce last year consistently.

What actually makes me upset about all of this is that I thought the Bears were our best trading partner on Draft day, because of their need of a LT.. but now they fixed all that and don't have a pick anyway. Denver won't likely be trading up with their second first round pick. I'm starting to think we may not have as good of a trading partner now, unless someone from 21+ wants to make a bigger jump. I was hoping to only slide down to 17-20....
