One thing that I haven't seen addressed though is can Wells block?..........if he can't pick up a blitz then maybe we should go that route, at least at 14.
Wells can actually block/pick up the blitz pretty well. He's not perfect at it, but no rookie is and it can be teached at the NFL level and can be coached up to be even better at it. As I believe it was already discussed in this thread or one of the others, Wells doesn't have many receptions (mainly due in large part to Ohio St. not using their RB as receivers out of the backfield) so on passing situations they would leave him in as a blocker.
