Rating QBs by defensive performance

Brees has played exactly 50 games with the Saints including the playoffs. Here are his numbers with the Saints. I'm not sure how the author calculated expected wins so the differential category here is not the same as in the article.

The striking numbers are in the 26+ points categories. We have played 21 games where the opponent has scored 26 points or more in 3 years and we have only won three of those games.

We have only lost 2 games when the opponent scores 20 points or fewer. And only 6 games when the opponent scores 25 points and under.

That's a pretty good statistic. Usually if you can keep the opponent under 12 or 13 points a game, you're locked in. If we can keep them under 20 points a game, we have a rock solid chance of winning.

In fact, in 2006 we were 13th in the league with 20.1 allowed average. Hmmmmm :scratch:
