Artists it's okay to hate

Say what you will about West's lyrical ability, but his ability to produce a track is second to none. It's one thing to sample a song and call it a production but to take multiple, often obscure, samples and mash them together to create something brand spanking new- as if these bits and pieces should have always been married together.

Again, I can often pass on his lyricism, but he's a musical genius, bar none.

He should have stayed behind the scenes and stuck with producing only. It wasn't until he started "rapping" that people began to love and eventually hate him. His EGO is the only thing that is second to none.
