Vick's touches have to come from somewhere. If he is throwing the ball and getting carries/receptions, its less touches for the other players. less touches for Reggie and PT, less throws for Brees. Sorry but we have the most successful offense in the NFL, its a completely asinine idea to make such radical changes. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

We agree that we don't won't to take away touches from our other skills players (which is why I don't want Vick) but I still don't see how it's going to take more than 1 or 2 of Brees passing attempts away. Even then those would then be replaced with HIGH percentage wide open wildcat plays that Ronnie Brown can complete ... wonder what Micheal Vick, Tim Tebow, or Pat White could do?

My main contention is that it's not completely ludicrous to bring MV into this offense as many on the forum are saying. There's a reson why respected intelligent football people like Peter King and Herman Edwards have suggested it. It's because it's not the worst idea ever. Just not a very good one.
