Peter King's Top 5 Michael Vick destinations (guess who is #1)

Really ... what's that magic number?

We agree that we don't won't to take away touches from our other skills players (which is why I don't want Vick) but I still don't see how it's going to take more than 1 or 2 of Brees passing attempts away. Even then those would then be replaced with HIGH percentage wide open wildcat plays that Ronnie Brown can complete ... wonder what Micheal Vick, Tim Tebow, or Pat White could do?

My main contention is that it's not completely ludicrous to bring MV into this offense as many on the forum are saying. There's a reson why respected intelligent football people like Peter King and Herman Edwards have suggested it. It's because it's not the worst idea ever. Just not a very good one.

Ronnie Brown is wide open on his passing plays because he's a running back. Brown has only attempted 4 passes in his career, compared to 781 rushing attempts. Thats why defenses dont honor the pass when Brown has the ball. Vick is thought of as a QB, he has attempted over 1,700 passes in the NFL. Everytime the ball is in his hands, the defense will be prepared for the possibility of a pass.

Its not the worst idea ever, somebody was talking about trading Chris Paul a couple months ago. That makes this only the second worst idea i have heard this year.
