Should the US negotiate with the Taliban in Afghanistan? (real possibility)

Name any war in the 19th - 21st century that DIDN'T end with the negotiation process

This one went real well.



Also Hitler committed suicide as allied forces were closing in so the Nazi component(also who started it) of WWII was defeated through force, Japan also conceded after two devastating atomic attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I would hardly call that a negotiation process on either account.
