B & G scrimmage

From all accounts, the offense looked great even w/ out Drew. Colston is back and Hamilton may be the power back we need. The defense secondary made plays and seems to be playing w/ confidence. Reis had a good day.

Now, have we spent to much time and emphasis on the secondary? It seems like the O ran the ball at will. You can have the best secondary in the world, if you can't stop the run, you won't stop the pass.

Any concerns?

jeffduncantp Simoneau (right elbow) is lone injury from scrimmage. Chip Vaughn has minor meniscus tear in knee. Further test, evals needed on both.
1st impressions from B&G: Defense good (pressure, TOs) & bad (run D); Hargrove, Reis shine; Brunell 8-for-9 on opening drive; Colston=beast

I remember watching Reis in preseason last year and he had a nose for the ball (ala Sammy Knight.) I want to see this guy get his shot because from what I saw, he's better than people might think.
