NC has passed a law that allows community colleges to take financial advantage of an often poor segment of its population because of our nation's inability to pass immigration reform. Regardless of whether or not this segment of its population has been and intends on always being residents of NC, CCs will be allowed to charge a US high school graduate ChargeMaster rates, a/k/a out of state tuition, which supplements those paying in-state rates. And you're upset because a segment of the population that has not yet been granted US citizenship is allowed to go to college? Overcharging them isn't enough?
