Despite fast start, New Orleans Saints aren't taking the bait

A few years ago Sean Payton famously warned about the capriciousness of an NFL season, saying every week is "either a crisis or a carnival -- there's no in between."
Well, it's Carnival time in New Orleans.
The Saints are 2-0. Dogs and cats are living together. Mass hysteria is sweeping the Crescent City.
After two years as pretenders, the Saints appear to be contenders again. And New Orleans is all atwitter. Heck, they were apparently announcing score updates at one local supermarket during the game Sunday. "We've got fresh Creole tomatoes in Aisle 9 and another TD pass from No. 9. Saints lead 24-13!"
