On another note, Meteorologist Sean Payton predicts a hurricane will hit Buffalo Sunday afternoon at approximately 4:05 p.m. Eastern Time. The hurricane, named Hurricane Drew by the National Weather Service, is expected to produce variably strong short win gusts to all directions in excess of 50 mph. These horizontal gusts will cause great damage to unprotected areas throughout the Buffalo area. Equally dangerous and related gold lightening strikes from great distances will also be evident throughout this time period, but no chance of any Hail Mary activity is to be expected. Accompanying the win gusts will be rapid, but powerful ground surges, which may render passersby dazed and unaware of their potential for damage. Local residents should take all precautions to protect themselves and their property.

Dark black storm surges will be dangerous and sporadic behind the levee which protects the Trent Edwards Canal, and should be unpredictable but unrelenting between the alternating periods of Drew's win gusts. Buffalo weather should return to normal shortly after 7:50 Eastern Time, with residents trying to return to their homes having lost their pride and dignity, along with half of their defense against the storms, shortly thereafter.
